These programmes
are designed and run for people who are returning to the UK after a period
of time spent in another country or countries. The programmes can include accompanying partners, or partners can be given
a separate programme.
Why is coming home
a challenging process?
Repatriation can often
seem more traumatic than the original overseas posting. In many ways the process is very similar, but more often than not
the support and understanding from employers and friends is not given.
When you come back
to your own country everyone expects that because you are ‘at home’ you don’t need any support. Yet for
many returning expats the UK may be as unfamiliar now as the countries to which they were posted originally seemed.
While you have been
away it is likely that both you and the UK have changed substantially.
How can we help?
We can help you and your
family to use your recent experiences positively.
We can help you to realise
how you have changed and to use the new skills and attributes you now have to your advantage.
We can teach you strategies
for coping with repatriation
We’ll help you assess
and design your professional and personal plans.
You’ll learn how
to package your international experience to be effective at home by assessing how your skills and style have changed.
If you are returning to
a Head Office you may no longer feel or be the big fish, so we’ll help you rethink how you manage your working relationships.
You’ll look at what
has changed, and what hasn’t?
In short, we’ll
help you make the repatriation process positive
Each
programme is tailored to the needs of the individual involved.
